zmoda intallatiion specifically router

i am installing zmoda 16 camera, 16 ch, dvr surveillance in a small trading post. i didn't realize i need a router to connect to my toshiba laptop. can anyone suggest a brand name and model? i have verizon mi fi wireless for my laptop. i am new at this forum and don't know if asking this allowed?
