    Sunvision DVR and Chinese Camera

I have also just started playing with a Chinese ip camera,it didn't even have a brand name ,but I managed to work it out in the end. The biggest issue I had was with the software they supplied,I ended up downloading new software from a company called ispyconnect.com There are plenty of free downloads out there to try. Mine actually works better on my android phone using an app called ip cam viewer, might also be worth a try Good luck and don't give up its all part of the fun

    One mouse two DVR

Hi Thanks for the info on the KVM switch. In fact that is what I have been using but it didn't seem to work for the mouse. After reading your comments I decided to have another look and tried it out on an old windows computer .Well it worked fine so I went back to the DVR players and rechecked the wiring .I am embarrassed to say I had mixed up the two usb cables when I had dropped them down below the shelf where the KVM switch is located. I have since corrected this and am pleased to say they are working perfectly know. If you hadn't written back I think I would have still had the problem for sometime.I had so many cables I had just missed it. Thanks again

    DVR or NVR?????

Personally I have H264 DVR players and find them very reliable. They have all the options you need for home use. They do have players that will record to hard drive and burn to cd or usb. If you get 700 TVL cameras the picture reproduction is much clearer. I have tried 6mm and 3.6mm lenses.I find 3.6mm is best for general use as they are wide angle and get everything. The 6mm is best for narrow access ways and longer distance. Hope this helps

    One mouse two DVR

Hi I am trying to run two DVR players on one screen and one mouse,I have managed to get a switch to run the screen, which I can operate manually but the switch won't recognize the mouse. Is it because it doesn't have a windows operating system? Does anyone know,is there a manual switch which will run the two DVR players with one mouse. It can be a manual switch,it would just be better than keep plugging and unplugging usb cables.
