More Dahua 1.3mp samples
luckyfella replied to luckyfella's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
PSS is only letting me add 50 devices. I can open as many as I want in the little tiny boxes. I may have to use another computer to log into my new devices, lol ! This job I actually installed 12 cameras. The ones you do not see are indoor and I did not want to post them publicly. I used a 5216 with a 3tb hdd. I have 2 POE switches in an upstairs closet and one switch in the basement with the NVR. I want to start using the 5200 nvr because it can handle the higher bit rate and probably more reliable than the 3200 NVR. I would love to join you on your job Shock. Do you still have my cell? -
Can you guess the analog?

What exactly do you mean? Video myself as I install the cameras or video samples of the cameras themselves? -

Q on Dahua PTZ Speed Dome

Audio in should be for a Mic, Audio out should be for a speaker. What would be your reason for wanting to use the alarm outputs? -

The reason I used analog for the front door was I split the analog video out of the camera. I installed a 9" LCD screen inside of the house so he didn't have to drill a peep hole on his very expensive doors. So, the analog camera feeds the LCD screen and than comes down to the basement to the DVR. The DVR does not have a hard drive cause I'm using the NVR to record it. -

Pat yourself on the back AK! " title="Applause" /> -
The IR's most likely have a different power source than the camera itself so just because the IR's come on, means nothing. More than likely, the video processor of the camera is blown and if your not a rocket scientist, throw the camera in the garbage, or use it as an external IR source for a different camera.

A decent router should have it's own built in traffic monitor.

On AC adaptors, there is no polarity. DC adaptors have a positive and negative. -

So how much this this swan neck mount? You paid 1500.00 for the camera, and how much are you charging to install it? And that is a 2mp PTZ camera which requires a big upload speed for remote viewing. Will it be remote viewed or just viewed on local network? -

Give us alittle more info. Does the community want a PTZ for the pool or the parking lot to protect the cars? I would tell my customer I'd rather not install a camera where you can zoom in and record people at the pool that are wearing bathing suits and what not. If it's only for the parking lot and the cars in it, than bolt a poll to the side of the building, snake the wire up the pole and mount the camera as high as you can towards the front side of the building so you are unable to view the pool area. BTW, I had that camera for a few months and it is awesome. Also, you over paid for it if you paid that price in the link you provided. -
NVR or DVR, it's the same. Ethernet is Ethernet.
-
Check your port forwarding for the DVR you cannot access on your phone. Use canyouseeme.org to make sure your ports are open and can see your DVR. If canyouseeme.org says it CAN see your service, than check the settings in your mobile app.

Set this up to connect to your wifi signal and supply ethernet to your NVR. Is it impossible to run a wire directly to your router? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833168092

ip camera question
luckyfella replied to wkdwrx's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
This has nothing to do with the OP's question. -
It is polarity sensitive, and all you need is a pair of wires.

ip camera question
luckyfella replied to wkdwrx's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
If the IP camera has a BNC output, than you CAN connect it to your DVR, but you will NOT get the full resolution from the camera. -
Did you set the protocol?

I have a feeling the 'scenic' view he wants to see is the lady that walks around naked in the building 1/2 mile away! LOL! " title="Applause" /> " title="Applause" /> " title="Applause" />
