    Need help identifying a camera

OK, I am curious, what does the brand name or info on this camera have to do with anything? Go to your neighbor and tell him to turn his Effin camera away from your daughters window, case closed!
  2. I 100 percent agree with Chaz.

    dahua dvr alarm block missing

How many terminals is the one you need? I pretty much never use those blocks and the next NVR I use I can send you them.

    Dahua NVR Display Issues

Not too sure about the other stuff, but I know sometimes, you have to wait a few seconds on the phone if you start off with the black box. Especially if set to D1 and you have a low cell signal.
  8. I just threw a 3tb RED in a 16 channel NVR I'm installing this Saturday. I'll see how this one works out and try to post. I've had to replace about 3 greens in the past year.

    WD Announces Purple Surveillance Line

Any eta on the release for this drive? I've replaced 3 greens in less than a year of installed. I sent them to WD and they sent me new ones, but since my customers were given 1 year warranties on parts and labor, I didn't charge one penny for driving out and replacing their drives. I'd love to avoid doing that with a more reliable drive.
  10. Look in the maintenance section and see if it's set to reboot or not.
  11. I'm a huge car fanatic and IMO it looks like a 4 door Infiniti G35. The headlights and flat trunk sort of give it away.
  12. I don't charge for wire, but if I did, I wouldn't charge 450 bucks! His price for the cameras, dvr, and power supply are all pretty reasonable though. And for analog cameras, those honeywells should work pretty good.

    Network camera recommendation please

Why not an analog PTZ with at least 30x optical zoom. You will be able to read the words very clearly and if you need to move it up down left or right, you will be able to move it. Than when not reading words, you can zoom it out and make sure your employees are earning their salary.
  15. Either way, there is nothing wrong with it. He has the economy model and if he wants full D1 on every channel, he might be able to try to update it, but most likely have to buy a new one that is FULL D1 on every channel.
  16. If you use the screw type, make sure the center is not touching the ground.
  17. There is nothing wrong with the DVR. Call who ever you purchased it from and ask him if you can return it and than buy a FULL D1 Dahua dvr from him. I don't even know why a manufacturer would make such a DVR!
  18. Who is your smtp server or your email provider? Try using Gmail if you can and see if that helps.
  19. If there is a radio station near by, your existing wire is acting as an antenna. Try changing the wire to shielded and you should be good.
  20. Yes, probably the russian dolls, but they do have chinese knock offs. Who really cares though, I was making fun of the OP, lol.
  21. Why don't you go to Jim Legend auto group and see what type of camera he has?

There is a way to have your company logo in the GUI on Dahua equipment. That is a Dahua, I'll bet money on it.

The fan is on to keep it cool. It's a ptz, not a radiator with a thermostat. Don't worry so much about it. Once the camera is installed you won't hear it or see it. Just install it and enjoy it.
