Why are you using firefox on your ipad rather than Idmss?

Did you highlight/check the camera/IP you want to delete? You didn't mention if you did that or not.

In the lowrer box, you need to check and/or highlight the camera than click delete. None of the cameras were auto added. At one point, they had to have been found and added. Do you have a built in POE in your NVR or an external?

You can find and/or adjust the number of users allowed in your recorders settings.

It's an 8 channel nvr so it will automatically display 8 channels upon boot up. How often are you rebooting it and why? If you want the cameras in a different order, you need to delete the IP's of each camera via remote device and reenable them for the channels you want in the order you want.

If your zoomed out and all the way up, when you zoom in, your camera is technically still all the way up that it can be. When you zoom in, it does not go down. If you were able to push it up, that doesn't mean that it can go that high normally. Another note, if you can see the sky while zoomed out, than the camera is looking high enough. I could be wrong, but that's what I think.

If you can hook up a monitor directly to your NVR, playback will be seamless. It will lag some if your viewing thru your network and even more slow if you remote in.

You can use two networks, if you wanted to. You could use one for streaming, one for recording, one for viewing etc. BUT, you would have to have two different network schemes on your network. I assume that you do not, so plug one cat5 into your system, and use one network port.

One option is to use point to point bridge over 5ghz and install a switch in an outdoor box by the gate. Are the gates powered? How did the electrician get power out there originally? Is there an intercom so your parents can let people in that call them?
