I think I got ripped off!!!

First Story ADT installed my security system. Next day, $10,000 in computer purchases in Colorado! Then ADT called to say coincidentally that they lost all my paperwork which had my cc information on it for monthly billing. Second Story I had a video surveillance system installed by a separate company. Found out the equipment was marked up at literally 2x. So I have been ripped off twice, and neither one was an intruder.
  3. Your right, the master stream made a noticeable difference. I noted your image quality is really good compared to mine. My cameras are mounted about 13 feet from the ground. Images look blurry beyond 25 feet in the day. Often times the images blur. Can you comment on my equipment? Here it is: The cameras : Seven outdoor Eclipse ECL-599HT vandal cameras. 750 TL, Sony 1/3 Super Hd color CCD 1/3" megapixel 4.3mm aspherical IR corrected 12 IR LEDs 2 high intensity LEDs .5 LUx, 0.0 LUX with R on shutter: AES (OSD control) WHitebalance: ATW Weather rating: IP66 The DVR: Plex 16 HDMI 16-CH DVR H.264 compression Recording resolution 720x480 D1 Display frame rate 480 ips Cable: 1,000 feet. Not sure of the brand.
  4. I am logged in at work. The image quality on the in-house networked computer is the same. I have not hooked up a monitor directly to the DVR. Another strange note, the image quality on my 3G iphone is better than what I seen on the network computer or from work every time. Will the substream look that much degraded even when I am inside the home on the same network?
  5. Spent almost 4k on an install of seven Eclipse 750TL Sony CCD outdoor bullet cameras (ECL-599HT model),. a Plex16 HDMI DVR with DI recording, 1,000 feet of cable and programming. Below are photos of live streaming. Are the photos typical or do I need different equipment and or a better installer? Again, 750 TL sony CCD woth OSD. I haven't heard back from my installer so i am posting here. The images look blocky, grainy and cloudy in some areas. Although it did rain here earlier, the are actually some of the BEST images I have gotten since last week. Shouldn't they look kick but? Even the white date and time stamps look blocky.
