why would you want this? esp. on a surveillance system?

i spy is right on the money hehe, go with the DVI-1480 card then you don't have to worry about all that =D
no cost difference either

is the whole monitor pink or is just were the video picture should reside pink?
I've seen DVR "directdraw" functions cause pink screens on multiple monitors.

that's a nasty hardware configuration

1. get rid of AMD
2. check to see if your motherboard is intel chipset (not talking about the cpu)
3. you may have a camera causing the problem, plug 1 in at a time and see if anything changes
Sounds like a hardware (cough cough AMD) problem, also go to geovisions website and download the most up to date software if it is a new card
