  1. Hello and thanks in advance. I am searching for an NVR brand with software analytics comparable to Geovision but without the licensing requirements. missing object detection and license plate recognition would be the two main requirements. Windows based units would be preferable.
  2. LOL no I am not for looking for a freebe here. I just wondered if there was an Nvr software I could buy that included the analytics and no proprietary licensing. it was worth a shot. thanks

  4. Thanks for your help I am helping friends update a 32 camera system and for now will be using all analog cameras. The card I was most considering was the Geovision GV-1240B-16 (X 2). The computer will be built by a geek that has the specs of the cards and experience in processors for cctv. They might add some IP cams in the future. They are currently using a 16 channel Avery stand alone for half of the cameras with remote viewing abilities and they want that on all 32 cams. the other cams are on an off brand stand alone DVR. In your opinion is this a good enough card? Is there any other Tips , tricks or warnings you would input on a NVR system this size? as of now they don't seem to have a bandwidth issue with the 16 cameras

The former pc software was DVR-Viewer but I cant find anything with that exact name and logo. the tag reads IV-TRH16 880047 I am new to this forum thanks
