  1. I found a workaround for this problem: - Open Control Panel, Java, Advanced tab - Look for "Perform certification revocation cheks on" and select the "Do not check" option. Needless to say, this setting opens a security hole in the system, so double check the sites you visit. Shame on Avtech for non-existent product support!

Honeywell HRDP4F - No camera OSD

Wonderful, thanks! Setting preset 95 displayed the OSD. I also found out a couple of other presets: 94 reset 99 auto pan
  3. Hi All, I am trying to set up my budget CCTV system, with used Honeywell HRDP4F250 DVR and two Samsung SCP-2120 PTZ camera. Everything works, except for a essential function: I cannot access the camera's OSD menu, so I cannot modify any of the camera setting. I tried several PTZ protocols, the pan/tilt/zoom/preset commands work, so it's not a communication problem. In the DVR menu the camera OSD option is grayed out, like if it's disabled, and in the pc software clicking on it just has no effect. Any idea on how to solve this? Anyone has a link to latest firmware, if available, so I can try to update it? Thanks Aldo
