    Please help with PTZ

Nope, that isn't the issue. They are ID'ed as 1-5. This one is 13. It has something to do with the protocol

    Please help with PTZ

We are trying to add some Nuvico PTZ cams to an existing Honeywell hrdp16d1000 system. This system already has 5 PTZ'z in place using Honeywell's proprietary protocol. We are trying to link 2 Nuvico's using Pelco-D protocol. If we remove the existing Honeywell PTZ cameras from the RS-485 connector and plug the Nuvico RX cable, we can control it. If we connect it along with the Honeywell cams we can not control the Nuvico Pelco D cams. We were told that since the Honeywell cams have the Honeywell protocol assigned, we can not use the Pelco D and all the Honeywell cams would have to be changed to Pelco D. This doesn't make sense. If a DVR is only able to send out 1 protocol on the RS485 port, then why is there options to select different protocols for every channel on the DVR? Please advise what we can do other than change the existing cameras. This would be a tough task considering the location of these cams. VERY high building! Thanks, Mike
