Hi I have a friend of mine who bought this unit and installed it: http://www.amazon.com/QC448-811-5-8-Channel-Surveillance-Weatherproof-Cameras/dp/B008YQR8PC/ref=pd_sim_sbs_p_2 He wants to change the DVR unit, since the hard drive has died twice now. Will another brand of DVR work with the same cameras from the QC448? The current camera cables he ran around his store have BNC connectors. I think he is trying to keep from having to run all new cables. Thanks
