  1. Hi There. I am about to install my first dome camera externally in a warehouse. Should I? - Have only the camera on the outside of the building with all the termination on the inside, drill a fairly big hole to allow for the wires of the camera through and then just plug the hole with silicone (assuming the camera wire reach through the double skinned wall? - Run the cat 5 through the wall and into a junction box, then have a short length of exposed wire between the camera and box - try and fix the camera onto the junction box so only a little bit of wiring is exposed? Some other method I haven't thought about.. Very many thanks!

    12V Cam on 24V

Hi folks, Accidentally thinking it was a dual voltage camera, I put a 12v camera onto a 24V supply. It didn't work. Now when I plug the existing cameras back into their 24V supply, they don't work either! Have I damaged the 12V camera? Why won't my dual voltage cameras now work? Has a fuse blown in the PSU? Many thanks.
