1. Hello Members, I have WiMax Broadband of BEYOND ISP with dynamic IP and they are using REDMAX router. Fortunately, i have configured their router to watch my DVR online through Port Forwarding and Dynamic DNS (Hostname) but didnt succeed in viewing cameras online. I am getting BEYOND ISP Login page after entering hostname (Dynamic DDNS). Its seems like they have alloted me private IP from their end. Is it possible to get public IP through any settings in WiMax router? I am repeating again, there is no Bridge mode activated in router or STATIC IP given by ISP. Advance thanks!!
2. @mindtwist thanks for your reply. In india we uses NTSC video format. And regarding modes, can we select them manually via DVR or some other technical process to follow. What all better DVR options do we have from HIKvision in 24 Channel analog range. Kindly suggest with advantages. Thanks!!
3. Hello @mindtwist, Thanks for your reply. Let me make price simpler for you i.e. $250 This model is not available on official HIKvision website but they have got it in user manuals, try find HIKVISION DS-7224HVI-SH in the following pdf file http://oversea-download.hikvision.com/uploadfile/Leaflet/UM/User%20Manual%20of%20DS-7200&7300&8100-SH%20Series%20DVR_V2.2.5_20131210.pdf I am not familiar with modes but i know little about fps i.e. higher the frames, higher would be the quality. So what are these modes? Mode1: 4CIF / 2CIF @ 12 fps or CIF / QCIF @ 25 fps (P) / 30 fps (N) Mode2: Channel 1: 4CIF / 2CIF / CIF / QCIF @ 25 fps (P) / 30 fps (N), Channel 2~4: CIF / QCIF @ 25 fps (P) / 30 fps (N) I know about 4CIF, 2CIF, CIF and QCIF, so kindly explain about modes and their channels only I agree with you regarding HIKvision own server support but anyway please advice that should i go for my own static ip or HIKvision`s server to watch cameras online? I am open for other DVR`s suggestions also. Thanks!!
4. Hello Members!
