  1. The image is constantly flickering & dropping signal, every now & again the image stabilizes but as soon as a vehicle passes through the gates it goes again - which contradicts the whole point of the camera been there.

Any help, advice, links etc would be greatly apprecaited, before i set about it with the hammer

    Many thanks in advance.

    Dean.

Try to adjust both the brightness and contrast settings on the device and move your camera to a different location. Location is also one the many factors the image is constantly flickering & dropping signal.

  2. Hi All,

A newer than newbe here. I have a PTZ camera that has no make and model number on it just two tags inside one said QC pass the other 810640 it in an aluminium housing. Owner states is 5 to 6 years old. I am trying to determine if this older ptz will work with a new DVR with out the joys stick control panel?

    Thank you in advance,

It's not possible! PTZ camera will only work and control with a new DVR using joys stick control panel. You can actually use PTZ controller as it works like PTZ keyboard or PTZ joystick.

  3. Hey I was wondering if the state of maryland required a license to install cameras in other peoples homes and businesses? I cant seem to find anything online thats specific enough. I figure usibg poe required using a licensed electrician to run the cables just to be safe but even then yhats overkill with how small the watts is of the injectors I woulf be using. Anyway thanks in advance as usual

I guess, most state require a license to install cameras especially in other people's home or businesses.

  4. This seems to be a trouble. CCTV must not be directly plugged to the main lines they can have will always explode if it exceeds to the limits since they are not fit to the load requirements. I did not know much about CCTV but I've seen some set up diagrams.

Good thing you are safe and don't burn down the place due to that explosion.

  5. Good Day Everyone,

I am glad to be part of the community. I am certain that I can learn several things with regards to CCTVs. : wink: I want to learn more and I am sure I can find great responses here.

    Thanks and Good Day.
