I asked him to make it simple and post what HD cameras works with the NVR and supports motion detection, still no answer.

This mini NVR seller writes: "The NVR can only realize simple functions , like video play, through ONVIF protocol. But not all onvif protocol cameras can realize motion detection with this NVR. That is what I also understood. Onvif is not what's needed instead the same as the xvision XC range cameras...

Answering myself. I'm out on deep water here but on several pages that offer this similar NVR under different brands the say "motion detection only with IPC support" Is that now the camera itself that must use a IPC protocol or something else? Would this work with all IPC cameras? Not knowing what I'm talking about so feel free to correct me. Matias...
