    I have a nvr from Hikvision, its connected to 4 ip cameras, with resolution 1080p, and it should record @30fps

     

    How can i double check this while doing playback>?

    Backup recording video file and play it by ＶＬＣ player.then you can see the frame speed,I think you can trust Hikvision's products.their products are famous in the world.

    Can someone help me solve this problem. Trying to connect 3 ptz camera to my analog system. i see video but the on screen menu is saying "Zero Detection" for all cameras. I know everything is wired right to my dvr. So i took 2 of the cameras and tested them straight from the dvr and every thing works perfect. But when connecting them to the cables i ran out side im getting "Zero Detection". Do you guys think the problem can be my rs485 cable? what should i try? Thanks alot!

     

     

    Hi，did you cable the RS485 cable to DVR and setup the right baudrate?

    Hi,

    Having trouble setting up my new DVR for e-mail alerts. I enter the SMTP server and my Gmail details using port 465 and SSL security but I keep getting the message 'Sender's Mailbox Illegal'. Any suggestions?

    Hi,friend, you'd better show your email settings rather than the illegal prompt.then someone may give you a hand.Or you can try to disable the SSL security,maybe it would be work.

    There are three ways to realize motorized lens camera with auto focus and auto zoom function

    (1).Synchronized Motorized lens: the focal length is adjusted with one motor on vari-focal lens to make sure each focal length have a clear view. when camera got auto focus commands from DVR, camera will change its focal length to get better video performances. this way is simple and stable to realize auto focus function.

    (2).Non-synchronized Motorized lens: the focal length is adjusted with two motors on vari-focal lens (one motor for zoom,the other one for focus),when camera got auto focus commands from DVR,camera will drive the zoom motor,then drive the focus motor to get the right focal length.

    (3).Auto focus by Algorithm：camera DSP will adjust the focus length to get a better video performances automatically by algorithm.video will be a little blur in night time in this way,because the light condition is variable and unstable in night.

    Hi there:

    Quick question, my mother in law have a Lorex LH138000 system in her house, 3 of the cameras are dead, I already change the cables but still the cameras are dead, my question is, can I install any analog camera to this system?

    Of course, you can install analog camera to this system.but you need to check what's the DVR resolutions.960H or D1?if the DVR is 960H you'd better buy 960H security camera,or you need buy D1 camera.

    is there any DVR for HD SDI with direct Streams for VLC Media Player ? A Protocol like RTSP ? It should be min. 4CH ? The price does not matter, the main point is the direct Streaming to VLC or other Software

    I would like to install a 2nd HDD in my DVR and I have a couple of Q's

     

    - Does the 2nd HDD have to be the same size as the 1st?

    - How do you configure so that when one HDD is full, recording etc moves to the 2nd one automatically etc?

    - Whats the difference between Sata 2 and 3

    First,two HDDs need be the same size in capacity.about the HDD capacity,it depend on your DVR system.

    In generally,DVR have different recording modes,Cover the prior recording when HDD capacity run out,or recording will be stop when HDD capacity run out.when the one HDD is full,recording will be stored to the 2nd one automatically.

    if the DVR system have no bug,there is no difference between Sata2 and Sata 3,DVR software

    will recognize them automatically.

    I have several LTS CMIP3032-28 camera. I like them, but I don't care about some of the IR halo I get. So as I am looking to add couple more cameras around my house, I was looking at LTS CMIP1122-28 (http://www.ltsecurityinc.com/ip-camera/ip-dome/cmip1122-28.html). At $140 plus shipping (plus wall mount) it does make me wonder if there is bit more budget friendly camera I should look at with same brighter and wider IR performance. I do want wider angle, since I have like an acre of land to cover around the house.

    as Boogieman said that this product also a rebranded product from Hikvision.

    My DVR went down the other day. Now, it says it has "No HDD" and is "Checking". I tested both drives and they seem OK. I have reinstalled one after it passing Seatools Long Generic Test. Still get the same issue. The drive is powering up but it stays "Checking" and a red LED flashes on the PCB.

     

    I have just removed the battery on the mobo to see if a complete reset does the trick since it still seemed to retain the camera settings details as the camera names came up on the display. I can't access any menus however and it says the keyboard is locked. I'm hoping it's just a corruption of the settings file.

     

    Any more ideas gratefully received as I'm out of them now?

    Maybe you can try to unstall the current HDD and install a new HDD to check the problem. format the new HDD before start to recording.

    Hi all,

     

    Having a problem trying to identify this DVR, it is a 16 channel H.264 500GB model but has no details on the back. Basically a friend gave it to me and i've got it working but want to a) update the firmware and b) connect remotely.

     

    I've included a pic of the dvr plus what i believe to be the firmware version.

    hello,Yas,it looks made in Taiwan or Korea.Can you see the DVR starting Picture when you power on DVR?maybe you can find some infomation from that picture.or check some infomation on DVR mother Board.

    I'm having the exact same issue. Driving me crazy. I've tired new users, reboots of everything, turning on IP filter with a local address, tried accessing locally, remotely and no luck. Found this issue mentioned a few other places but no solutions. Anyhow you're not the only one ahaha.

    Maybe you need check the user's permission in DVR,if the user is prohibited to use IE to view DVR ,this will be come up the situation you have seen.

    hi,I have a Icatch TVI DVR on hand,I can not change bootlogo by myself,you can contact icatch for help,they may provide a software tool for change the bootlogo.if not and you are in urgently ,please contact me,let me try.

    Hi,

    is there a chance that my dvr only sends email alerts upon motion detection and no pictures ?

    I am asking because so far i am only getting email alerts but photos are not attached....

    Hi,pilotos,Did you intall the HDD in your DVR?most of DVR can not send motion detection alert picture,because there is no space to storage the captured picture.or please try to check your DVR configurations.

    Hi guys , i just brought a hikvision DS-2CD3Q10FD-IW from china.

    When i try to add the device , it pop up as " the device is not register and please check your network " and cannot go further setting.

     

    But i had check the device was connected to my network as detected in SADP program .

    is this my network setting problem ?

    I had checked with the buyer , it need to register the account with china phone number to add the device . is it true ??

     

    firmware version : V5.2.0_140721

    Ip address:192.168.1.5

    port: 8000

    mask:255.255.255.0

    gateway :192.168.1.1

    DHCP Enable

    Hello Everybody,

     

    I want to thank you all in advance.

     

    I have a sony fs100 camera wich has a hdmi out I got an atomos connect hdmi to sdi convertor and I need to buy the cable now but I have only been able to find regular copper coax cables.

     

    My question is if that cable could work with my setup.

    regular copper coax cables can be work with SDI,but transmission distance will be limited within about 50m.

    Hi guys!

     

    I am looking for a software which is able to call an SIP videophone and sending the IP cameras video and the voice! It would be great that it could not just making the call but accept calls too.

     

    Does anybody know a software like that?

    eyebeam or X-lite might be work,which support the functions you needs.but this software just need a USB camera and mic,not a IP camera.moreover,you should registered the software to you phone switch.if you wanna known more about the software,just google it on the internet.
