    easiest way. just go to start, all programs, accesories, systems tools, system restore and restore it to date before the change was made.

    if this can help. i fixed a problem like that. wih a pc based dvr, geovision system and the problem was the chip set of the motherboard, it was not compatible, we changed the motherboar it used to be a VIA Chip Set, we used a gateway motherboar.

    I have installed 32 cameras with video baluns, bur i don't recomend you to run ac voltage with the video signal, dc voltage is ok.
