How to get a remote viewing cctv setup to my PC and phone?

I knew I probably misquoted the price on that, my budget allows for the purchase of the models with audio, with that into consideration what can I look forward to in order to achieve my posted goals?
  2. I'm looking to setup two cameras, one in the front of my home and one in the back, so that I can view the feed from 2 monitors and also my iphone. Do you need additional software or equipment to get remote viewing such as this? Ideally I'd have a nightvision capable cctv camera with sound such as the sub $100 Hikvision or Dahua models, the remote viewing would be convenient for me to glance at as there has been reoccurring vandalism near my home. I'd like to set up one of the cameras to cover my backyard while also covering a home that has a couple of notoriously bad barking dogs that are in the progress of being documented as the owners refuse to take any action to modify its behavior. Essentially I'd have the camera pointed at the dogs area while it records every bark 24/7, possibly by noise activation which I was under the impression Blue Iris could achieve or perhaps it was another program. From my understanding it is legal to record whatever you can see from your own property so if the camera could visibly see into their home through open windows would that would be okay? Of course I'd only edit the barking footage into a montage and not include any non related footage.
  3. After recent and persistent suspicious vehicles loitering and discarding trash ranging from condoms to fast food I've decided to go ahead and purchase a dedicated cctv setup. Due to budget concerns I was recommended to look into either Hikvision or Dahua cameras as they are budget friendly IP cameras. My only requirements are nightvision, license plate reading ability and audio. Regarding reading license plates I'm aware that the camera has to be placed close to the ground, my only concern is the higher risk of the camera being vandalized in such a vulnerable spot. I also don't know how I would mount it so low where as mounting it somewhere on the house would be a much easier option. Furthermore are the lower end Hikvision/Dahua cameras able to read license plates with their lenses? While I would like audio capability I'm pretty sure this would raise the price of the camera significantly and I'd only want it to record some excessively noisy neighbors. I'd love to be able to view the live footage from my PC monitor but am unsure of whether it would be wise to store all of the footage to my PC since I've read it takes quite a lot of space. I have no idea of what brand of DVR to buy but would again like to get a similar budget friendly one to match the level of camera I get.
  4. So I've recently been a victim of what I believe to be retaliatory vandalism after vouching for a noise complaint against a neighbor in court, shortly after a vehicle drove through my street throwing beer bottles everywhere but coincidentally enough only hitting a neighbors car and mine, I believe they scattered the bottles throughout the street to make it look like a random act of vandalism instead of a targeted one which of course would make it harder to pin it on them. A few of my neighbors came out to check what the commotion was all about where one stated their vehicle was hit. I reported the incident to the police to create a paper trail and after inquiring that the neighbor who I testified against might have been behind it the dispatcher said another neighbor identified the general make of the vehicle they used which unsurprisingly fit the description of what the culprit had. Unfortunately I don't have a surveillance system yet but am in the plans of purchasing a dual Hikvision setup but am very curious to what would have happened if I did have one. Let's say they did in fact use their own vehicle as described by the witness and I had it caught on video, would that be enough proof to nail them for the act? Would I have needed to capture the license plate? I'd presume that the lower end Hikvisions could see a license plate, maybe needing higher zoom lenses though. Is it easy or cheap to add audio to such a setup?
  5. Is the Hikvision S-2CD2332 http://www.amazon.com/Hikvision-DS-2CD2332-I-Turret-Network-Camera/dp/B00GYHEG0S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425180274&sr=8-1&keywords=hikvision+2332 about as good as you're going to get for a budget IP CCTV setup? I'm looking for a two camera setup for the front and back of my house but want to include audio recording with the setup. Do these cameras have that feature or do I have to purchase additional components? Is it easy to switch out the lens for a 12mm lens? I'd like the backyard camera to have a much higher view distance.

    Looking for budget cctv setup

That is not a zoom camera...dont know why you need zoom you never stated..that is a junk analog camera...you said you want to hook it up to a pc ..you should be looking at an ip camera. You want at least 720p..but it wont have zoom at your price point... Something like this this http://www.amazon.com/Hikvision-DS-2CD2332-I-Turret-Network-Camera/dp/B00GYHEG0S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425180274&sr=8-1&keywords=hikvision+2332 or http://www.amazon.com/Dahua-IPC-HDW4300C-Waterproof-Network-Camera/dp/B00LGNKN8Y/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1425180058&sr=8-8&keywords=dahua+ip+camera or any of the hikvision or dahua cameras discussed in many threads here... Some cameras have sd card slots so you can record to the card if you wish..read the ip/megapixel forum and do so research.. Thanks for the links, those look like nice cameras that are within my price range, I'll research those threads and find the best option.

This is a joke right? This camera: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GMAAJY/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A24JBW0OYN3P12 couldn't be combined with this power extension cable: http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Pre-made-Video-Security-Cameras/dp/B000P8X65S/ref=pd_bxgy_p_text_y combined with this power supply adapter: http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Security-Adapter-Connectors-PW154/dp/B002WM8ZV0/ref=pd_bxgy_p_text_z to create a working system? It's not possible to setup cctv systems this cheap?

    Best budget cctv camera?

Could you give me more information on the camera you linked? What is the difference between CCTV and IP? I saw similar style cameras on Amazon for a bit under that price range and the shipping was free unlike the $20 on the Alibaba one which I believe are all overseas products. Is it not possible to connect a camera to your pc? I see you mentioned purchasing pc software. I was under the assumption there was a way after reading different guides on it such as http://smallbusiness.chron.com/connect-cctv-camera-computer-60833.html .

    Best budget cctv camera?

$50 is right in my range but is a DVR necessary? I was thinking about just connecting straight to my PC if possible.

    Best budget cctv camera?

Could you recommend me the most popular budget 700 TVL CCTV cameras with video and video/audio? I tried to research some models and came across ones like this: http://www.amazon.com/Evertech-Cctv-Security-Camera-Surveillance/dp/B004GMAAJY/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1415965187&sr=1-5&keywords=700+TVL+cctv Good reviews and 700 TVL. However most of these cameras don't seem to come with audio, is that the norm for cctv cameras? For wiring will this suffice: http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Pre-made-Video-Security-Cameras/dp/B000P8X65S/ref=pd_bxgy_p_text_y I see that this particular camera is bought with this additional power supply: http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Security-Adapter-Connectors-PW154/dp/B002WM8ZV0/ref=pd_bxgy_p_text_z which I'm assuming is need to keep the camera running as the first cord is just for picture? Would I be able to directly wire this camera to my PC and have streaming video on a monitor that can be recorded somehow? Is additional equipment required to be able to view the video on a smartphone and receive email/text alerts for motion sensor activated footage?

    Best budget cctv camera?

What cctv cameras are considered the best bang for your buck? I'm looking for something I can place outside that will provide good surveillance footage in addition to good audio recording 24 hours a day. Should I be looking for a wired or wireless setup if I'm on a budget? Looking at stuff like http://www.amazon.com/SecurityIng-Colorful-Security-Distance-Waterproof/dp/B005G66494 that has good reviews makes me believe I can actually get cctv coverage at a really low price. Are cameras in this price range too good to be true? For coverage the camera will be at the front of my house to monitor our driveway and street, somewhere around 25 feet in range. I'd like another camera for my back as well but with superior audio than the front one if it saves money by having the front have poor to no audio.
