    Going to trial

Thats one for the good guys. Defendent accepts offer of extended Order of protection (including third party harrassment) for 2 years. And a conviction of 'disorderly conduct'. Which I believe remains on his record indefinitely. This works out alot better than beating hell out of him. You just have to be patient.

'First Copy' - thats exactly what the ADA did. The difficulty involved in attaining a prosecutable image of somebody driving by at night in a vehicle is an intensive interative procedure. Having a combination of sufficient IR illumination, fast shutter, and proper dept of field using telephoto lens. But it was a great learning experience and so is the Trial issue. I appreciate the advise offered, thanks.

    Going to trial

Video authenticity I believe are assured by manufacturers GE & Sony. Video alteration on the other hand always concerned me though, I will have to do my home work regarding water marking and such. What I seek is at least a 2 year 'Order of Protection' including third party harassment. As this is the forth 'Order of Protection' against the defendent. The ADA has no problem with what I seek in restitution and is looking forward to a trial with the evidence provided.
  4. On violation of Order of Protection (Contempt of Court) the defendent decides on trial. This despite video surveillance from 4 IR sensitive cameras showing purp in the act. Also a fifth camera indicating ultra closeup of defendent in vehicle. Has anyone gone through this experience and can you provide me any advise that may benefit my case?

The images were captured locally, not from a remote site. I'm one of those people who expect this ducks to remain lined up, so you think I am being a bit fussy regarding resolution?

    GE SymDec-4

I don't care what the specs indicate for the symdec-4. I have made extensive image comparisons against the DVMRe Pro and conclude the symdec-4 does not emulate the image of the Pro. Now what to do?

Provided by Extemecctv tech support, there is a DIP switch on rear camera board to set manaul shutter speed and chose between 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 & 1/10,000.

I would appreciate any assistance with the following scenario: The camera view is perpendicular to and 20 feet away from a traveling vehicle. Is it technically possible to capture this image with the least blurr? Is it possible to restrict the shutter speed to the max as per camera specification; 1/100,000 of a second. Camera is an Extremcctv EX27SX6 LXR.

Freaked out by programming changes I would interpret as necessary to initialize (reboot) following such changes? thanks for your input.

To anyone considering this camera due to its affiliation with WZseries(Extreme CCTV) or the enticing specifications provided. I have learned a hard lesson. Do your homework thoroughly and always make an attempt to learn from anothers experience.

Can I obtain the impressive image I hear so much about by using an analog camera (not IP camera) directly connected to the BNC (composite video in) and on the SymDec unit? Keeping in mind this scenario would be bypassing the encoder/decoder (SymNet-5rc) unit ?
