  1. I'm running mostly Axis and Avigilon IP cameras. I have a couple of internal locations that I'm thinking of using a WiFi type of camera. Are there any WiFi cameras that Avigilon supports, that are recommended? thanks.
  2. I have the Sony fisheye installed, and it works....ok. I've had to set it to continuously record, as the motion detection setting doesn't work with ACC and that camera. I'm not that happy with the quality of the video/images it captures however. I'd rather deploy a few regular cameras to cover the same space, than one of these, just due to the image quality. Does the Oncam fisheye look similar to the Sony?
  3. I posted on another thread here on what 360 degree cameras were supported by Avigilon, and one suggestion was the Sony SNCHM662. I purchased that camera the other week, and got it online yesterday. I have some questions on it. I currently use about 70% Axis cameras, and the rest are Avigilon cameras. I have about 8 sites online, with a total of ~100 cameras. the configuration of this camera has some options for the lens type, and I'm not sure what I should pick. The picture is hard to read, the options are: Default, A0**V, A8TRT, A1UST I chose the Default option at first, but then the software didn't let me rotate/zoom in on the picture. When I choose any of the other 3 options, then it does let me manipulate the image. Which one is correct? Next, I noticed that the camera doesn't show me an option to set a Pixel Motion Detection zone. The option just isn't there. What am I doing wrong? thanks for any help.
  4. Thanks for the tip, that did it. Recording 24x7 for that camera now.
  5. I can trigger the manual recording for the camera, but it only allows me to do a max of 1440 minutes, so 1 day at a time. I don't see an option for a continuous manual recording.
  6. are there screenshots anywhere that show this camera with the Avigilon client software?
  7. Is there any camera that Avigilon supports for dewarping? I take it the Axis M3007 still isn't supported?
  8. I've installed 6 Avigilon systems at our different offices. Running versions 5.2 & the recently released 5.4 on the server & clients. Remotely viewing via mobile device was working fine, up till iOS 8 was released. Now all I get are Authentication Error 401 messages, or I can't even connect to some of the gateways. I'm assuming this has to do somehow with the iOS update? Using the ACC client on a PC remotely over the web works fine, it's just iOS devices I'm having issues with. Any ideas? Thanks. Kevin
  9. That's a fair question. I'm comfortable with network settings, private/public IP ranges, WiFi setup, etc. I've setup 6 of these Avigilon setups at my work offices thus far, and they all work fine. I always setup the mobile client to access the external facing IP, so that I don't need to run any VPN client on them, or have to setup dual gateways for internal vs. external. The firewalls are setup to resolve and pass thru the external IP address. For my work offices, I setup a DNS name entry so that I don't have to remember the static public IP address of every office. For my home, however, I'm just using the public IP for the gateway entry. It's really strange, this all worked as I have it configured now, up till around when iOS 8 was released, which is why I assumed it was due to some update in that software. When I add the gateway by IP address, it actually resolves it, and gives me the green checkmark next to it. It's when I then click on that gateway name, open it up, that it then shows a red X after a few seconds next to it, with "not available" under the gateway name. Again, connecting with a PC is no problem.
  10. Yes, when on the same network, I can view the video from my laptop with the ACC client software just fine. This can be hard wired, or on the internal wireless. If using my iPad or iPhone on the internal wireless network, I cannot view the video. So the problem occurs on iOS devices when on the internal network as well as external.
  11. Yes, have restarted multiple times. Avigilon Control Center Gateway Version: 5.4.0.30 thanks.
  12. I just checked that setting, and it already was unchecked. On this particular server/gateway, the error I get from the mobile client when trying to log into it is Server Error [-203]
