Hello all, So I'm pretty new to the whole security camera scene. I recently upgraded from a dropcam that we used as a baby monitor. I installed a few hikvision cameras wired up outside the house and one in my son's room. I'm using Milestone's XProtect as the NVR software on a PC. Everything is working great, the only drawback to this setup is that the XProtect Mobile app goes to sleep and it eats up battery very quickly. My wife's expectations were set by the dropcam's app, which works pretty well. Somehow it is very easy on the battery, and the app keeps the iPhone from going to sleep so it works well to have the video on all night. I also tried to install ExacqVision's app on my phone, and watching the demo camera feeds the app went to sleep as well. Can anyone recommend a good setup that has a first rate iOS client?
