To reply to my own post, I have just contacted Geovision Support and they have sent a patch and the problem is cured. Hooray!

Has anyone seen this fault [image attached] when attempting to change settings on the Counter/intrusion Alarm facility? Upon receiving this error message>OK> clicking on the Alarm tab just shuts down the whole Geovison app. which promptly reboots. Uninstalling/installing will solve the problem for around 24 hours.
