  1. sounds very strange, i cant remember exactly what card i have, but i think the ether804 software was the one i was supplied with, and the one i recently updated to my "cctv pc" is a complete old barge i built from old parts, a 1.2ghz atholon with 512mb ram i have just checked my resources and the DVR encode program is using about 16 % here the GFX card is a geforce 5600xt (crap card TBH) i currently run my system with 4 cams and max quality settings
  2. Installed and working fine picture looks sharper for me due to new screen options (acc) will not playback older saved dvr files no problems with motion detect, all together more polished allround, has options to turn on a remote light and use a wiper over the camera lens ?? need to look into this a little more
  3. has anybody ever released a program to convert the .dvr files to something else (wmv etc etc??) i would really like to convert some files and burn them to disc to give to customers when needed. rather then taking snapshot pictures and printing them out thanks S-M
  4. hello 1st post for me, i found this forum last night when searching for the wave-p software update password i to have an older wave-p card and was useing an older version of the software, when they started adding passwords i was a little bit miffed, email support is zero so far with no help at all, i find this strange a google search brought me to this forum where somebody had claimed an older password was 999999999 this did not work for me either, tonight i downloaded a simple zip file password retrieval tool and after setting it away on "brute attack" it told me it would take 5000 years to complete the task with numbers and letters LOL thinking that the previous password was all numbers, i reset the brute force attack with just numbers and the tool cracked the password in 15 seconds here are my results for the few that want to upgrade the new software looks quite nice compared with my older version, although i cant test it until i get to work tomorrow to install it on the site CCTV system my card never ever crashes although sometimes the colours go a little off, but i did have to do some file swapping last time i upgraded as some files seamed a little buggy regards S-M
