Hi Pete
UK?
You can still keep the Cat5 plugged in even if you connect another cable to TV, for this you need a RG59 Coax with BNC one end to connect DVR Monitor output and at other end Phono connector to connect to AV socket, or a scart to Phono adaptor.
This will give you live feed from the DVR
To control the unit a set of IR pyrmids like these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Marmitek-PowerMid-XL-remote-control-extender-set-/261173472451?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_Video_RemoteControls&hash=item3ccf26ecc3
This will let you change camera 1&2 to full screen or Quad and allow playback etc

Ok sounds like wireless solution then1 Transmitter at DVR and 2 Recievers ... 1 at each TV hooked into AV input
You will also need a phono to phono single short cable and buy a BNC-Phono adaptor to fit on DVR end
Thank you... Have ordered this and between you, the seller, and the bloke at maplins I think I'll be able to sort this. Will report progress next week
Drop me a PM if you get stuck bud and i'll help you over fone

Where have you located the DVR?
Can you get a cable down the conduct the TV coax run down?
There are a number of various ways to do this wired and wireless and with IR remote control of your DVR at the TV

Where are you Based Kevin?
If UK Put a Modulator onto your TV antenna before the distribution amp and tune in on Analogue
-
Most of the time they put tow lines in, if they dont we blow our own in using compressor
-
Get your own pipes laid by contractor doing the rest, if theres an issue its his problem then not yours
We always pull in our own cables as the contractors tend to be a bit rough on cable etc
-
Throw in the flights and we have a deal
-
you will need to portforward or DMZ to make it work
use - http://www.canyouseeme.org/
To check the ports you need are open
remember port80 is blocked by a lot of broadband providers so move this in the DVR to another port

Thanks again Neutech, I live near Denver CO.Either of those remotes will work with your DVR but the seller is in UK but ships worldwide or you could try local source now you know what they look like or hook your DVR to your Router and pick it up on the LAN, you will need to download the client software but its easy to operate

Welcome
plenty info on here and few UK people as well
you heading to IFSEC this may sayin its on your doorstep

Yakky, I have googled the model number, found the manufacturers website but it requires registration to download the manual. Did that yesterday but still awaiting a response for that membership. Hence my post this morning. Maybe I missed something?Neutech , Thanks for actual help, that is what I was looking for! Seems like these manufacturers in asia are difficult to communicate with, I guess I just need a bit more patience and persistence.
Dennis
No problem, where are you located in the world and i'll point you in direction of where to purchase a remote
