I would install an infra red beam system
e.g - http://www.optexamerica.com/productpage.aspx?l1=2&l2=&id=63
Thats a wireless version or if possible run a cable over
Will give you an accurate way to monitor your gate

Mornin Harry
What part you from?
-
2.4 GHZ units?
What make ?
Where u located in NI
-
port 100 is your mobile port
Go into the substream settings and set it at QCIF and turn down the quality/FPS until u get it connected then you can turn the settings up a bit
Have you set up a DDNS account?
Ports open on router?
Checked the ports are open via - www.canyouseeme.org
-
Where did you buy the kit? Ebay? have a look again and you possibly see there is no Hard Drive included with the DVR
-
99% your in UK
Not a good idea to post any footage on internet, you need the Police and Local Authority to sort this out once and for all, every time theres a part get on to local council enforcement office they are meant to be on call 24/7 then ring the Police
Its disgraceful in this day and age people cant live in their own homes in peace
I hope you get sorted mate

Look for substream settings and reduce them to maybe QCIF or FPS or quality this will speed up LAN viewing
-
You need to use the Mobile port on theDVR not the data port, normally set to 100 or 101 on some DVR's
Remember to open that port on Router
What is brand or model of DVR?
Nothing in handbook as to which app you need to use
http://www.meyetech.com/ make lots apps for DVR's try one of theirs like TMeye etc
Also remember to turn your substream setting down to QCIF and maybe reduce frames and quality until you can test it due to streaming
-
So you put http://192.168.0.300 into your address bar on the LAN and it times out no connection?
Is the DVR connected via cable to router and have you plugged laptop into that cable to check there is a valid connection?
-
If you have a Business broadband then request a static IP address as it makes for a more simple connection
BT will try and charge you but tell them your going to another provider and see what they say
To check that port is open use this - http://www.canyouseeme.org/
BT can claim all they want saying they do not block ports but their routers do and most do not have the loopback faclity to enable this
Also the APP your running will need the mobile port opened on the router and set in the Eagleeyes software to match
The HTTP port 80 is for viewing using a laptop/PC offsite on the DVR software

Any camera can be day/night without IR but depends if electronic or mechanical filter as to the quality, no IR on this camera
I havnt fitted a camera with IR in over 5 years....prefer to install a proper lighting solution or seperate IR illuminators so the spiders arent crawling all over the camera after the first night or it turns into a bugbeacon
-
The fact you can see the login page means you need the correct user and password
Move the HTTP port to something apart from 80 as some routers tend to block 80 for various reasons
-
I need help, anyone know how to settle this problem ?I lost all cameras and it just a blue screen with VLOSS (video loss) , anyone can advise me what to do ?
Well one hit wonder we're all sitting here waiting for the reply???????
-
Give us the setup and we'll sort you out Bud
-
Check the power supply to the Cameras would be a good start
Video Loss = no signal from cameras
-
Throw the DVR in bin and buy a proper unit
CnM are cheap nasty "DVR's"
-
Have you tried another supervisor user and password? you seem to have a lot of supervisors set up
The fact Multiview is saying no priviledge means yes its all working but your not logged in under the correct user to allow remote access
-
ohh dont worry we know your real..we checked yuou out..we even know what you had for breakfast
Adata are the the main guys in UK but they rebrand and as they have told you dont sell the full range, i dont know of anyone else in europe, have you sent Dahua an email to ask for other Europe suppliers?
-
What leads are you using? Did you buy the card new and complete?
If its older card and newer style leads then put the blue lead into black port and black lead into blue port
-
no-ip.com are doing 2 years for $29 and 25 accounts

As i said in first post on this thread Multi input Monitor...
http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/575231300/17_HDMI_BNC_VGA_1280x1024_600TVL.html
Theres one example and has all inputs and PIP
I have used same as these a number of times from local supplier
-
Is there any reason why you want Dahua branded CCTV equipment specially?.
Worst attempt at self promotion i have ever seen
-
so it is advisable for me to use a wireless camera for that distance sir? coz somebody told me that wireless cameras are hard to use.they are more susceptible to interference and a lot more expensive.can you advise me with this sir? tnx.Use a quality CCTV Camera and connect it to a Transmitter - Do not buy Wireless all in one camera
Use external antenna on both transmitter and reciever to help signal
Fit a 12v External Boxed PSU below camera or in a Security box near pole

The cat5 and baluns are for analogue connection not IP, they mean you dont require a coax stipper and crimper to do BNC's
To be honest 3.6mm is a general observation size lens, people think if you can see someone in the camera you can go all CSI and zoom in and enhance etc...yes IP or HD but analogue no
If you require quality and deffination then your going to need to fill those 8 channels Bud, buy cameras with Varifocal lens as these allow you to set the image to where you require subject to where you place them and how far away, if its distance then look for 9-22mm or 5-50mm lens camera
BNC crimp kit is what you need if you want to use RG59 instead of the CAT5 / balun option - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BNC-Crimp-Tool-Kit-/251188887776?pt=UK_Computing_NetworkingTools_Accessories_SM&hash=item3a7c0640e0
That gives you stipper and crimper, all you need is BNC's
