  1. Being that you are in the tech industry and not on a tight budget, if I were you I would look into a NAS system by Synology. https://www.synology.com/en-us/surveillance/7.0/overview On the opposite end, Costco has a Q-See HD 1080p 2TB 6 camera package on sale this month for $499. http://www.costco.com/.product.100153934.html?cm_sp=RichRelevance-_-categorypageHorizontalTop-_-MoversAndShakersInCategory&cm_vc=categorypageHorizontalTop|MoversAndShakersInCategory
  2. Hey Guys, I need help with accessing the Web Service V2.0 through a home Verizon Fios LAN connection. This is to a newly installed generic Anran/Dahua 8 channel analog DVR. The DVR works as expected and I can log into it directly through various accounts. But when I try to log in through IE to the Web Service client on a remote networked computer I get an error message that says “Invalid Password”. This occurs on all accounts that work fine and can be accessed from the DVR. I have pinged the DVR from the router utility and all is well. Any ideas?

I had the same issues with my Q-See DVR. Visit the Q-See web site and download the latest updates. Follow their instructions carefully and install the updates. This solved my issues. If you continue to have the same problem after the updates, then look at the hard drive.
