  1. The cameras you listed do look like re-badged Hikvision models. http://www.hikvision.com/en/us/Products_show.asp?id=7662 The DVR is a re-badged Hikvision model. So an option is make them all use the Hikvision firmware, their firmware is the most up to date versions available. I updated another badged company (Lorex) to Hikvision, works fine. By upgrading the Cameras firmware to Hikvision ones the Swann would detect them properly ?
  2. I've searched and I did not find a answer to my question I'm seing that a lot of post refers to swann rebranding HikVision, does anyone know how i would go as to apply an hikvision firmware to the nvr-7085 ? The camera selection is poor (well only one) and I think that if i were to install a hikvision formware instead i might be able to add better cameras, OR does anyone know of a dome camera from hikvision (or other) that would connect on this system ? Thanks for your help
  3. I too was misinformed by the vendor, I guess you got the last batch of NHD-806 cameras they had there, I have the nvr8-7085 and none of the onvif cameras are being detected, anyone here had a chance to actually change the firmware to hikvison for the swann NVR's ?
