  1. What specs do I look for when planing on monitoring south/south-east facing area, and in exposed to the elements position. Does it has to have Auto Iris and/or WDR? I plan to install the camera under the eave of the house(16ft up), to monitor a path 20ft from the house. Do you think I need to get Varifocal lens, or I can get by with fixed lens? These are on my list: sAMSUNG SNO-L6083R SAMSUNG SNO-L6013R Lilin LR7722EX3.6 Lilin LR7022E6 Your opinion is much appreciated!
  2. Hi All, Your opinion will be much appreciated on the following: Can I mount Samsung SND-5080 dome directly under eave. This is not outdoor camera, and in the specs it says : Operating Temperature-Humidity : -10°C ~ +50°C (+14°F~ +122°F) / 20% ~80% RH Installation is in Kent, South East, UK- so no extreme cold or hot weather, but it rains a lot. Do you think this is a bad idea, or any tips on helping with weather proofing this dome?
  3. Hi, Budget is quite limited, but I've got access to special pricing as I'm A/V installer, and one of my dealers has released a clearance list of damaged packaging products. I'm trying to use some of these as are half the price. (WV-SF138E for £170 ($260), and Bosch NDN-832V09-P for £270($410)) Thinking more about positioning, I might be able to mount the camera on the west side of the house, so its not exposed to direct sun glare, or you might be able to provide some tips. Camera mounting location is looking directly South, so exposed to sun most of the day, on the a few sunny days a year. Street lighting is about 130ft (40) meters away, but motion lighting is available. If i get a dome camera, i'll mount it to the eaves, if not ill mount to the wall. I also got access to Lilin portfolio. Anyone used these before- Lilin LR7022 £150 /$230?
