    Nice! I appreciate your help. I did the same from the hikvisioneurope site and downloaded v 3.4.80 build 160718. It's the oldest of the set. Now I'll upload the latest. So far so good. I uploaded from the web gui.

    alexf40, I have the same box and am in the same situation you are in. Thanks for posting the question. Q: Did you load the firmware in steps or did you just load the recent firmware you mentioned? Also, did you get the firmware from the US or European site? Thanks
