How big of difference is there in a 1/2.8 cmos vs 1/3 cmos sensor? Is it really that big of difference?

2 cameras 75' top distance.

I'm looking for a system for live viewing of targets at my shooting range. ctronics has a 2 or 4 camera system with a 9" touch screen monitor that looks like the ticket. I would prefer cameras with optical zoom that can be controlled with the monitor but can't find anything like that. Any thoughts on the ctronics units or advice on something different? Budget is up to 1k.

never heard of such a thing. doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Why do you need optical zoom? couldnt you have a camera that is already zoomed in on target and leave it?

Want to be able to zoom in at different distances.

i appreciate any help you can give me. I'm looking to install 2 cameras with optical zoom on a indoor personal shooting range to view targets. What I would like to do is have a touchscreen monitor 15" or so that can operate ptz on camera. Not sure if this is possible or not.

Yes I will try and post some that is one thing I have much trouble with, posting pictures but I will try and post some screen shots.

I have two 5mp pro cameras and have no issues with them for outside use they are in pelco domes and they work great. Just need to get a couple on the 5mp domes they have now.
