have asked this before but have no choice as the container which was asphalt and cant trench the nearest building bis 95 mtres there is no phone line in container what are the wireless alternatives

no one answered hasnt anyone there had success with wireless could i use ip cam hub and decoder

hi need to get hold of a camera to be mounted outdoors capable of about 95 mtres it is impossible to run wire as it is concrete parking the camera can be mounted line of sight from the receiver prefer australian suppliers or internet based company as i am in australia can bu the 2.4gi wireless transmitter and receiver has anone used these also was going to use 540 line full bodied auto iris cams will i loose picture quality

hi got avtech 785d hooked up for remote viewing works fine has anyone hooked one for gprs viewing on your mobile phone if so are images ok is there much lag

hard to fault avc 760 used quite a few no problems

i have also used quite a few avtechs no problem used a avc 785d yesterday and have used alot of the older 787s no problems

everyone here has a favourite dvr can i have some opinions why there brand is bettter and what it does better than something like the cheaper avtech unit the avtech has dvd burner 30frms per channel lan and internet motion watermark masking mpeg 4 havent seen alot of others around the price of the avtech so whta features do the others do is it worth the extra cost

hi ive used samsumg 540 line full bodied cameras but im worried about the coax ive used it was quad shield from middys it wasnt cheap but it has aluminium braid have you used cat 5 as it is a big job to rerun the rg6

have to run 140 metres alot of different opinions what to run rg 59 rg6 or cat 5 can someone give me the fors and againts for the above please heave read in the forums cat 5 is not that good with baluns at a shorter distance

had to put 4 cameras about 140 metres from the dvr unit ran rg6 coax the picture on full screen is o pixelating but on 4 way split its fine is this a power supply to the camera problem or a cable or connection problem

not sure what camera to use outside as i need to see outside at night but during the day the sun shines on the camera as i understand it ir cameras have no ir cut any help would be appeciated any links grateful

getting a dvr does anyone no of the new recording format h264 is it any good is it better than mpeg4 is there any disadatage of getting dvr with this format
