  1. Hi everyone, newbie here and trying to figure out the brains of HIK... So, I have three cameras: 1: DS-2CD2032-I, firmware V5.3.0 build 150513 2: DS-2CD2332-I, firmware V5.3.0 build 150513 3: DS-2CD2332-I, firmware V5.3.0 build 150513 all are PoE and connected to Synology DSM 5.2, SS 7.1 I am having a problem where the 'Basic Event' settings re-set themselves as follows: I log into each of the 3 cameras. I switch off the 'normal' configuration by deleting the 'draw areas' and saving. I then set up 'expert' configuration with pretty high sensitivity settings (I am still trying to figure out how the 2 values actually work together but that's another story). I then get lots of emails from the cameras. I log into the cameras and I see that the cameras hame a 'normal' configuration with the default values, i.e. 100% coverage on the 'drawing area' and sensitivity to 100. This happens on all 3 cameras. I tested stopping and starting SS7.1 and can see that when I do this, basically it seems that SS7.1 is overwriting the 'basic' event settings. No other settings on the cameras change. Any ideas how to fix this bug? in SS?
