  1. I looked back and most of the time it happens at night but the last 2 times one camera was at 08:15am and the other camera was 14:23 when it quit. That is a good idea...I will re-crimp my connections.
  2. I'm using TP-Link model TL-SG1008PE which had great reviews on Amazon is why I purchased it. The POE budget is 124 W which automatically is distributed to the ports requiring POE with a max watts per port of 30W. According to the specs for my camera's they only require <5W to operate. I know the cable run distance from the switch will use more watts but at this point since I only have 2 camera's I don't think I'm exceeding the 30W port max. I'm just wondering if I should try different camera's before I start buying new switch or try a 12V power supply.
  3. I have 2 Dahua IPC-HFW4300SN camera's I recently installed. I have the camera's connected to a TP-Link 8 port POE switch model TL-SG1008PE. A couple of times a week the video quits working on the camera's but I can still log into them. If I go to the POE switch and unplug the cat-5 and plug it back in..(power cycle the camera) the video starts working again. Any idea on what could be causing this issue?
