  1. Not progressive, although the chipset scan progressively it appares they have decided to output in interlace. Probably to keep the higher unique PicturesPerSecond.
  2. Thanks guys. Hills didn't get back to me. Local supplier has the EverFocus EQ-600 WDII. At a good price too. Will get one to confirm that's it progressive scan. Will register for alloys.
  3. Can anyone help? Local suppliers seem to be in the dark. Auckland, New Zealand The pricing seems very good (from what i have read on this forum) for a progressive scan camera. The closest I have got was a contact for GE Interlogicx in Austraila. Haven't call yet. http://www.cctvforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=5093
  4. I just had this exact request from a client. He wanted to use the footage for swimming performace evaluations. The nitigritty the PCI bus has a pratical maximum of ~125 Mb/sec A full frame stream of uncompressed video is 30Mb/s As you can guess, 4 streams adds up the to the limit very quickly. Your options are Use full field (Haven't got an eight port realtime card to test out) Get a system with multiple PCI Buses (PCI-X is backward compatible) Track down a hardware based solution.
