    PDC posted a topic in Security Cameras

    Why does QSee require a PoE switch when using a QSee QT series QTN8041B IP PoE camera with a QSee QC series QC8816 NVR that has PoE ports? To ensure full compatibility and use of all recording options, NON QC Series cameras must be connected via POE Switch. How does this ensure full compatibility? They are both QSee products so they should be compatible. Hope to get a better explanation here then what was given by QSee support.
