Can you guys elaborate on this one please? I have a HDTVI camera on an analogue dvr and not working

Hi guys New guy here, and i have a question. I have a standard analogue DVR with 4 cameras, all working well. I tried adding a Hikvision DS-2CE16C5T-VFIR3 and its not coming on at all it seems. Is there a compatibility issue perhaps?
