  1. Thanks for the response. We have a few of those too, but indoors. Would that work as an outdoor camera? - Jon
  2. Hi All, 5 months ago, my condo building in sort of an industrial neighborhood of San Francisco hired a company to install 15 IP cameras on our property, with an NVR. He used all LTS Security gear. For the outdoor cameras - there are 5 of them in total - he used these cameras: http://www.ltsecurityinc.com/ip-network-bullet-camera-cmip8232.html Those outdoor cameras are kinda low, and one of our homeowners is moving the camera that's near his entryway with a broom - not a crime, but seriously annoying. I'm trying to figure out a solution, as I think that using bullet cameras at such a low height is generally a bad idea in a hood such as ours. So I was thinking that using dome cameras in those 5 outdoor locations might work better for us, but my installer says that due to UV damage to the outer plastic lens, that those cameras would be garbage after 2 years or so. Is this true? Is that lens not replaceable? Is there a better solution that I should consider? Any assistance will be hugely appreciated! - Thanx - Jon
  3. Hi All, Am an HOA Board member for a building in San Francisco. We just had an LTS LTN8716-P16 NVM with 13 LTS IP cameras installed in my building. Am just figuring out some stuff. Am using NVMS7000 for iPhone, and NVMS7000 HD for iPad, and those clients are amazing. They work perfectly. For my Macs, I've tried using the web based interface and it's ok, but not fully featured. I called LTS and they recommended that I use NVMS7000 client software that is downloadable on their site. I did, and it spikes the CPU and is essentially unusable (v1.02.00.50, build 20130428_14). I've been waiting for an update. I want to roll out access to our building cameras to my building homeowners, but with the issues on the client software, I am hesitant to do so. Any help? - Thanx - Jon
