  1. Hello all, I've had a quick browse of the forums and google, but can't seem to find the solution so thought I would create a post and ask the experts! I recently decided to do setup my own CCTV system. Using a Hikvision TVI DVR. The picture is bang on, apart from the odd wavey lines in the corners. (It isn't noticeable during daytime). Things I've tried: Not having it pointed directly at the streetlight opposite, swapped the power supply, (I haven't plugged the camea directly into the monitor just yet, I'm going to try this tomorrow. Does anybody have an ideas? Video noise?/Interference?/How I've wired it? and any potential fixes would be greatly appreciated. I only have x1 camera so far as I was testing quality before I purchased more so I can't test it vs another camera. Thank you Here is a video I uploaded of the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXrmQCWdkHI&feature=youtu.be Items: DVR - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B013QX55DO?ref_=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1 Cable - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006L268R0?ref_=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1 Camera - http://www.cctvkits.co.uk/hikvision-ds-2ce56d1t-it3-1080p-turbo-hd-dome-camera-with-3.6mm-fixed-lens.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjw5Z63BRCLqqLtpc6dk7gBEiQA0OuhsIV8s_jsXlziHnjadtGhIig2JevSSorkILEy6J6NDZwaAn1F8P8HAQ Connectors: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111523418879 Baluns: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262262517280 I apologise for linking the websites for these items, I just wanted to link these incase I had ordered cheap connectors/baluns that could be causing the problems. Thanks again guys ( I Made a thread in the wrong section, so posting it here)

    Installation problem?

Good idea! Do you know which/where to buy the best power supply that would run x4 cameras? The one I bought was cheap and unbranded off Amazon thank you

    Installation problem?

Thank you for your reply, The strange bit is.. During the daytime with full natural light - the quality is perfect, no wave lines/interference. I've uploaded another clip from this morning, might seem a little off due to my phone camera but its perfect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLTih06Za94&feature=youtu.be strange
