    Thank You for the reply! I had to google baluns. can I run the 12v power through the cat6 wire or do i need a separate cable? -alex

    Hi everybody! Im setting up my home with cameras outside -all around my home -with a zmodo DRV. I,ll be looking around for how to select cables & such that will survive outside in all weather conditions without spending a lot of money. The Zmodo cables are very thin & cheap. I want to remove the BNC connectors off the cameras and possibly run a 3 wire cable for power & video. Thanks for Looking!!
