But in the coming months i think there will be 4 channel playback.
  2. If anything it makes the picture better at night, IR's dont interfere with ordinary lights.

Cheap Color Bullets - Buyer Beware

Rory, they have a new compact colour only bullet the ICR-149, which has a super picture from it even tho it has only 480tvl but it uses a SS-11x chipset, which is supposed to improve picture quailty some how. It also has a 4-9mm vari-focal lens. http://www.icrealtime.com/solutions/cameras.asp?cameraid=ICR149

Cheap Color Bullets - Buyer Beware

ICRealtime's ICR-IR150 is a nice 480TVL silver bullet it has a built in mic., it also comes with bracket, PW Supply and 100ft plug and play cable. IR150 has never let me down for the cheap install, and there is no problem with supply or support.
  5. ICRealtime's ICR-100x is a nice mini PTZ with the option to flush mount for drop ceiling, it has a 10x optical lens with 530TVL, WDR, Day/Night and all your groups, patterns and presets. Call them to get a demo on it.

    IcrealTime vs Nuvico DVR3

ICRealtime FLEX Series have CIF recording and 25FPS on each channel, so playback is good for most locations, like house's shop's etc. ICRealtime PRO Series have D1 recording and 25FPS on each channel, and the playback quailty is outstanding, mainly used is heavy use areas. We install a lot of ICR DVR's and they are a good all round choice and they are so easy to use so every litle call backs for backing up footage. To answer your question the FLEX series would be good enough I think, or if she wants top class playback go for the PRO series.

    Mains Camera v 12v

Is there any advantage of having a mains AC99-240v camera, over a 12v camera.

    PTZ terms

Just wondering this is pretty standard now days with many good PTZ's. But can someone please tell me what they actually mean. No Accumulative Error with Preset Function. Shortest Path by Vector Drive Technology. High Accuracy with Micro-Stepping Control Technology. Thanks
