  1. Hello Please could someone please help me out. I have looked at loads of forums but I can not undersand where I am going wrong. I can only access my cameras using my own wifi, no one elses or more importantly via my 4g connection. I am in the UK and I am using IVMS 4500. I have attached some screenshots of my setup, including my router port forwarding setup, which I did a week ago. Any asssitance to get this sorted for me would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot

Hikvision HD-TVI Turbo Remote Viewing Help

Thanks a lot for your reply. So I have disabled UPnP. I have corrected the ports to 554 on both the dvr and in my router port forwarding settings. I have been 'canyouseeme' and all my forwarded ports can be sucessfully be seen on my public IP address. I have enabled my DDNS and connected it to the internet (I registered at HIKVISION DDNS and created a domain name, added my serial number etc) What else do i need to do to gain access to my cameras via 4G? Forgive my ignorance, what was this bit 'You will never be able to access it with your private network IP (192.168.1.x)' Thanks again, your help is really appreciated.
  4. Hello, I have uploaded a photo of my issue (attached) I have 6 cameras (HD TVI) which are great. They all run perfect in the day and 5 of the 6 run perfect at night. The sixth however shows a blurred image with 2 half rings. I have cleaned the lens but it still does it. Can anyone tell me what it is causing it? Poor installation? faulty camera? How can I fix this? The camera is a dome with 36 ir leds. Many thanks
  5. Hello all, First of all, many thanks to all that take the time to advise and help. I have gone through quite a lot of posts on this forum, but still have some questions. I would like a domestic CCTV system, I have no wires or anything installed so will be fresh. I need at least 4 cameras. Following posts on this site, I am heading towards hd-tvi with IP based cameras a second option; please feel free to advise or likewise tell me I am going in the wrong direction. So the problem is that I will be installing the cameras in my loft / attic as i can use the eaves to run the wires. The problem is that the internet access point / router is two stories below in my living room. I would like to back up my recordings online to a cloud and also have the capability to have remote access. Could I create a good wireless connection between the dvr in the attic to the router 2 floors below? Thanks again
  6. Is it worth waiting for tvi 3.0 technology? Would this be compatible with 2.0 dvrs? Thanks
