Hello again! Fortunately I solved my own problem. So that problem was the power adapter, It powers the dvr but not enough to power the HDD too. So for other people that might have the same problem with me, just make sure your power adapter is correct. in my case it's 12V 2amp power adapter. Thanks.

Hello everyone! I have a Hikvision ds-7204hi-sl DVR. I am new to installing cctv systems but somehow i made a mistake and i don't know what to do. When I was initializing my hdd it says "abnormal status" with shows only 10mb of space available. so i right clicked and tried to delete it and it was gone. so after i restarted the dvr it wont show anything in the hdd list. So i tried another hdd FAT32 formatted 500GB Seagate but the list still shows nothing. I tried to Restore Default Setting but the HDD list is still empty and i think because i deleted it. But the HDD is still heating and it was read before. I also tried finding some firmware but there was none available. The Hikvision has the "HDD DETECT" button but its not working. If anyone have any idea how to hard reset or what happened or how to fix it. Please help me... Here are some pictures
