  1. Hi Folks, Just bought a GV-250 Card & Ninja PTZ Camera,am trying to get it working on a Dell Computer with the following specs. Pentium 4, 1.8 GHz, 256MB, Intel 845D MB,Socket 478, NVDIA GeForce2 MX/MX400, Installed on empty 10GB partitioned HD with Fat 32 on Windows XP Home system. Geovision program seems to run fine but all the screen says is "Lost Video". Camera is wireless, running to X10 receiver which is connected to card via BNC cable and one RCA cable for sound. If I hook everthing up to TV or VHS using just the two RCA cables ( yellow & white) it all works, I also tried with direct to TV with RG59 & still works. Camera is advertised as color but all I get is B/W and nothing on monitor at all. All help will be appreciated and thank you.
  2. Hi People, New member here and really lost. Just installed a single x-10 Ninja camera with PTZ on the outside of my house and although quality of video is lacking everything works as advertised when hooked up to a TV or VHS system. I can not however, get any video on my computer monitor when hooked up to my GV-250 Card installed in a Dell Computer with Windows XP and all the neccessary requirements as per Geovision instructions. The main program boots but then all I get is "Lost Video" on the screen from Camera 1. I have tried two different cables from the wireless receiver to the BNC connection on the card so I'm pretty sure that's not the problem. Can anyone tell me if I have to configure my Comm Ports or anything else I may not be doing to get this up and running. I will sure appreciate any help and than you.
