Rory ,that ge model looks great,l will check with howard at spytown for my cost and l think that would be the way to go for my situation.if l was to get a day/nite and l have enough light,which one??l will take some pictures tonite,l am going in to check in on everyone, and l will take a few more pics without the flash and then l can finally finish with my research for my cameras!!l will post the shots later and get a better picture of our light situation!! ls that lens a GE lens??if no which one do you recommend ie manufacturer.??

l definately could get away without the vandal proof dome like you said rory,l definately would like the best b/w camera l can for my dollar,l am looking at another company in the u,k who use these cameras in their niteclubs and pubs they are from vista and also PROTOS VPC 9432 W/EXVIEW l dont have a link right now!!

rory the wz 30s do you think that will do the trick? l ordered the wz46 and l thought they were a little expensive with the lens and all.l need a colour d/n at the door for sure,l have a lot more light from an atm, and maybe if the camera gives me crisp pictures and a wide angle to view a large area approx 25-35ft l could use the wz 30.can you provide a link or if anyone can p.m me a quote l would be grateful.l bought the wz 46 from north video,lf someone can give me a good price locally i would like to give you some business.

Other considerations NUVICO D/N W/AUTO/MECH CUT FILTERS The bar is not quite that dark as the picture appears,l will post a few more updated pictures tomorrow or later. l have at the door a nuvico nvcc-wv 42 ir 16n day nite at the front door looking at the door,l also managed to get a refurbished panasonic 924 with 1/2 inch lens and l have a bosch flexidome xt lcc 1461/20 which has to be replaced (not suitable).

l managed to get hold of a free lcd 15inch monitor,was wondering what the best connection to a dvr or pc computer would be for the best picture quality ie,s-video ,bnc etc and will it be prone to burn in?? my pc monitor is shot!So it came at a good time!

cheap price or cheap components?l thought it was a good deal at the time considering the size and resolution!! Any recommendations or shall l use the lcd for now!!

l have had it one and a half years,come to think of it l think it is just a regular 19 in monitor,l bought from a supply house,it might not be crt!

i have the nuvico dvr, not pc based, so l couldnt put a screen saver on the monitor hence the burn in of aprox 12 cameras,7 with no image,just says video loss that you can see on the screen!!! Is there anyway to get rid of burn in???

thanks rapid,l have a crt and l got the burn in,how do you rotate cameras?do you put it on loop or do you manully go change the camera view,please clarify.

kandkorp,you have any images of that i link camera,that l could posibly relate to in low artificial light like a bar or something similar???

l have a bar also,is that shot of the bar with the main lights on and could you focus it and repost the picture l am interested to see the quality,ps why this particular camera? and do you have other cameras of different makes in this environment? if anyone has camera shots inside a bar or niteclub l would love to see them,l know rory has a few with the provideo bullets etc,but anyone else,with shots??? this looks very similar lighting to what l have maybe a little darker ,any suggestions on cameras for this environment,l would like a wide angle 2.6mm lens to view a wide area!!!

hi mark,l also have a bar/niteclub and looking to do the same or similar setup l recieved a quote for the geovision setup from scottj and it seems very good,just curious if you have compared both systems or cards and what your recommendations were!!or if anyone can give me pros and cons of the two cards ie benfits,strengths etc.

l would like to get a dvr or geo that has better playback resolution and record resolution and also something that is a little easier to use for relative newbies at cctv.
