    Hello everyone

New to the forum and new to CCTV having just installed a 4 camera system i bought from Amazon. All went well with the installation and setup although a lot was guesswork due to no instructions! Which is why im here, to ask you guys a few questions about me.... 46 year old from North Manchester Sports fan, Biker and father of 2 boys Painter and Decorator by trade since i left school and i like to go camping quite a bit anyway thats me, speak soon
  2. I have a Annke DVR which is a re branded Dahua DVR I like to use the smart search at the end of the day most days and get a quick highlight of whats been going on around my property However each morning at 6am my central heating comes on, and the outlet outside gives off steam that rises in front of the camera :/ So like above, each day when i do my daily highlights.... i have to watch 30 mins of steam before the real stuff which is getting tedious. Does anyone know a way i can skip past it?
  3. [sOLVED] I found this page from another thread on this forum http://www.cctvcameraworld.com/security-dvr-nvr-email-alert-setup-guide/ and that fixed my problem
  4. I own a ANNKE HDCVI Security 4x Camera System and ive set up 2 cameras to alert me over email if movement is detected. This works fine, but all i get is an email saying movement detected, time and date??? I was hoping for a photo or something :/ I know i can read the email then log in to my camera remotely with my phone, but if the email takes a while to come through i will miss it does anyone have the same system, and can this be done?
  5. After a bit of googling it seems your right its a dahua.... not that i didnt believe you. menus look the same, as does the smart phone app although a different name its the same too. Thanks, it will help me find more info at least

  7. As ive bought it and set it up its a bit late for a change :/ The trouble when buying CCTV its a mine field! some say full HD when they are clearly not, and proof of the pudding is the night vision i suppose. How you supposed to know how good it will be before purchase. there are no branded tech that anyone can look at, ive never heard of any of them. i went for the one that sounded like it did what i needed and got good reviews. i used your link and it said i can trust the reviews.
