    ANPR camera

    I have read that I could use ANPR CCTV camera if I want to recognisedthe Plate Number (registration no) of a car on the entrance gate, right ? My question is: - How this system wokr actually ? - How is ANPR camera look like, it is just PTZ dome camera with very high resolution ? - If I already have a DVR with spare channel on DVR. I have used some channel for normal PTZ dome (non ANPR camera) could I use this spare channel to be connected to ANPR CCTV camera ?

    What DO I need If I want to have CCTV IP System ? Please your expert advice. LEarning from this forum I have listed the following. 1. PC computers with windows operating system as a CCTV server 2. NVR software which could recognised CCTV IP cameras. 3. IT infrastucture with high bandwidth 4. RJ 45 outlet to plug CCTV camera and connect it to the network 5. CCTV IP camera (e.g. Mega pixel CCTV IP camera for a good resolution) Plase correct me if I am wrong and/or add the list, what is still needed. Thank U for your time.

    Thank U very much for valuable input. Is NVR is an equipment such as DVR or a sytem ?. My understanding is that we need NVR to operate CCTV IP. IS NVR rouhgly say is just a PC server and Software where CCTV is operated ? I am sorry about my ignorance

    Dear All CCTV expert. I have been following this forum for quite a few weekas Now. I understand that DVR is needed for system with analog CCTV camera and NVR is for CCTV IP camera ?. How is actually NVR look like ?. Is that just a CCTV server with IT network or it looks like DVR. Could someone guide in this instance or probaly the website where I could see the picture/specs of this product ? Thank you for your time

    Could anybody help me in this issue please ?. Could we get IP CCTV with the same picture quality with DVR system, especially with we have bandwith issue here ? Could we view the Non PC based DVR system from several remote areas ? Thank you for your time answering my question.
