    Weird fog.

We've got similar sugesstions from support too. As we took off the camera from a wall we failed to get this fog in our environment. We tried almost everything including blinding it with some other IRs and mounting camera in every angle on wall or ceilling. We even built some covers to bounce IR back to camera but effect was different. It's only shows in this specific spot on client's site. That fog is showing even thought we replace camera with new one. Next week we'll come to client and do more tests.

Yes, camera have LED IRs. We've replaced the camera with a new one and it has same fog. Seems like camera is OK. This is the only camera on this corridor so we exclude posibility of reflections from other IRs.

    Weird fog.

Hi, Image from indoor dome camera (NVIP-3DN5040V/IR-1P) is very foggy in night mode: Lens and cover (also from inside) is clean. Cover has some scratches. IR LEDs works well. Lens have rubber seal wich is in well condition and pressed to cover so IR can't reflect from inside. I thought the camera sensor has been damaged but when we tested it in office we get this image: Any ideas whats causing this fog? Mounting looks likes this: In night mode and lights on image from camera looks likes this: I don't have sample from day mode but it looks the same as above (sharp and clean) but in color.

    Greetings from Poland!

Hi everyone! I've been searching internet for some professional help with CCTV and at last found one I hope. I'm not new in security world. I've been working for 4 years as engineer in companies specialized in low voltage installations. I hope will find some solutions for unconventional problems I have and share my experience with those as well.
