  4. Try 697408 for today 04/08/2013 The system should also have two Admin Accounts as follows: Username: admin. Password: admin. Username: 888888. Password: 888888.
  5. Did you get this far without a password?
  6. To view the cameras on your iPhone, you will need an App. Which one, I have no idea, that model number doesn't return anything on Google. If you have a manual check to see if it support iPhone and what App is require.
  7. All Dahua NVR's can record at Maximum 120FPS at 1080p at a lower bit rate which is not true 1080p. For true 1080p you need 4096kbps. So you can get max channels as follow: 4ch NVR = 2 Cameras at 1080p 10 FPS Maybe 15FPS 8ch NVR = 4 Cameras at 1080p 16ch NVR = 8 Cameras at 1080p
  8. That's a default setting which probably reverted when you did the upgrade.

Can you post a screen shot of the local display? What monitor are you using? What connection type are you using? If VGA try and match the DVR and Monitor resolution (1280X1040). How does it look in the web browser?

    Linux REMOTE view software

I have no idea, never used it. (PC Guy) You can register with them and get support via email. You will also receive updates/findings by other users via email. I've been following them for a while now with the intention to try it out, but never got around to it.

    Mini Outdoor Security Camera? HELP?!

You said Min not Covert. These are the same size as a gulf ball. You can try the pencil type cameras, they are about 3/4" by 2". Did a couple for a customer and it turned out great, we drilled into the Pergola and painted them the same color so you don't even see the cameras.
  23. C&P from another site? Here are the steps: 1) Get a new IDE hard drive. From what I read, I would stick with a 160GB or less, and an 8MB buffer or less. 2) Connect the hard drive to a PC, and power up the PC. 3) In Windows Disk Management, create a new primary partition on the drive, using all available space. 4) Use "Fat32Formatter" to format the disk. 5) Shut down the computer, disconnect the drive from your computer, and install it into the DVR.
