Thanks very much for the help - There seems to be no way to tell for sure so unless I find more evidence that its OK, I wont take the risk. One reason I was hopeful was because the driver CD looks professional (in the way that the graphics go into the center of the CD) and nothing like I would have expected from a cheap clone package.

Hi I've been offered a Geovision GV800 for a good price and have been told by the seller that it's a genuine card but reading about the Geovision clones has given me doubts. The seller emailed me pics that I've uploaded on a webpage to view. http://zorbz.net/geovision.htm He said in his email: "individual serial numbers on chip or vcard our stock has come from liquidation hence the good price" Could I please ask for your opinions on this card.
