  1. Oh yea zoom in on a D1 image.... see how good that looks. Besides I pass on that chinese junk
  2. Yes the resolution of that camera is totally over kill for that location but I like the image. The cameras are about the same price which one do you want to look at? 1080P D1
  3. Dan the only way to get what you want is to use HD/Megapixel cameras which will cost more money or add more analog cameras.
  4. I can reproduce that problem on both Avermedia and Exacq NVR's. It comes down to the camera/network and frames being dropped or unsent. If I limit to only one HD stream, I get smooth frames unless there is a lot of movement in the image. Again bandwidth seems key, and I think it's more of a camera issue. I run DLink gig switches. Might be that the Sanyo doesn't play well with them. This issue with Sanyo and Exacq has nothing to do with network bandwidth.
  5. I have not seen an Avigilon in action, but when I set my HD4600 to a white balance of 5600, my outdoor scene looks so much like the real thing. It's hard to imagine something might look better. This is part of the reason I started this thread. Here is the Avigilon 1080P

    NVR/Hybrid compatibility

Anything is possible it just depends on how much money and time you wanna throw at it.
  7. Sanyo might have a slight edge in color quality over Avigilon H.264 but in every other way it Avigilon is a better camera.

    HDCCTV is the new standard

I think HDcctv only real advantage is live uncompressed video otherwise IP is a better option.
  9. No Exacq can pull one or the other. H.264 or MJPEG.
  10. No it will not and I only know a couple of VMS's that take advantage of multi streams in the cameras. Avigilon CC will use the dual streams in the Avigilon H.264 cameras.

    HDCCTV is the new standard

HAHAHAHA That video is the biggest joke I have ever seen. I still can't believe the president of the HDcctv alliance (Todd) thinks anyone would take him seriously with that.

    HDCCTV is the new standard

RG9, the whole system is cheaper in the long run and its stronger cable. HDCCTV is cheaper? hun

Last question do you have a friend named Todd
  14. I'm testing 2300 and 2500 now, very nice cams. Sanyo just had a price drop too. I was at my distributors place yesterday, and looks like availability of some models are affected by the earthquake in Japan. They have had supply issues way before the earthquake.
  15. That must be the total spread across the two streams. I really only need one stream for recording and typically keep it at 15fps or less, so I should be fine if I go that route. No this only applies to the H.264 streams. The MJPEG has totally different settings.
  16. No I don't but it sounds like you do. Your post below makes no sense and is very confusing for the OP. Please be professional and talk about equipment that you know about.
  17. Now that I have looked at the specs, they appear to have the same options as the HD4600, just limited to two streams. That's all I am using on my HD4600 so that would not bother me. The 2100/2300/3100/3300 are limited to only 15 or 30FPS
  18. Any of the 1080P domes. I would just need to know if you need indoor or outdoor. What VMS are you using?
  19. They are about the same price. One thing I don't like about the 3100/3300 is the limited choice of frame rates.

Using UTP for power and video

You could also use something like this to keep everything clean. http://www.muxlab.com/products/ve_cctv_power_thru_balun.htm
  21. @t3chsupp0rt..... Do you work with IP cameras and VMS solutions much?
  22. What Sanyo dome are you looking at?
  23. Avigilon runs Sanyo perfectly, Exacq not so much.
  24. I like the image from Sanyo but I have had some major supply issues and now they are owned by Panasonic so who knows how long they will be around. Avigilon h.264 has a very nice image also.
  25. Wow man didn't mean to offend you or your analog DVRs.
